If you get time, check out one of South Shreveport's favorite breakfast themed restaurants, Another Broken Egg. Serving amazing breakfast food from 7:00 am - 2:00 pm daily, Another Broken Egg is sure to cure your morning hunger. I just ate "The Supreme" omelet, and I am stuffed!

Brookshires on Line Avenue at Pierremont
I had an open house scheduled yesterday in beautiful Southern Hills. I decided to pick up a few red, white and blue balloons to complement the RE/MAX signature patriotic balloons that I was attaching to our directional signs. However, I ran into a challenge when I discovered that both of the stores where I usually find balloons were out of business. I ventured west on Pierremont where it intersects with Line Avenue to the Brookshire's grocery store. This was a saving grace and I found the appropriate balloons! I also discovered some wonderful renovations to the shopping area that I'll share in a later post.
