    Well there will finally be a true grocery store that can service the Ellerbe area! Construction of a new super Kroger is underway. Looking to be completed before the summer of 2016, the new Kroger will rest at the corner of Ellerbe and Flournoy Lucas where the old YMCA Camp Forbing used to be. Such a store will be a God send, as the other larger grocery stores are another ten minutes away. The complex will also include restaurants, shops, and a workout facility.

    Enjoyed a great lunch today at this quaint eatery off Line Avenue onto Ashley Ridge. The ambiance was pleasant. A great break from the heat of the day (literally and figuratively). The service was remarkably attentive. Since I try to pile up on Omega-3 as much as possible, I opted for the Seared Salmon/Creamy Polenta, Green Beans, Topped with Citrus Compound Butter. It was my first time trying and it was both delicious and healthy, which remains to be a challenge with me but gotta keep at it. I also learned that they cater. Try it and let me know what you think.
