    Beautiful homes? Check. Convenient to highways and interstates? Check. Beautiful horse farm nearby? Check. Maplewood Estates is easily one of my favorite subdivisions. The homes are all French Country style and start in the mid to upper 200k's - and are beautiful! The subdivision sits in an amazing school district, is near lots of shopping and dining, and feels like home from the moment you enter. There are many new builds going up and several homes for sale!

    This neighborhood is tucked away in Ascension Parish and is just seconds from Baton Rouge. The homes here are of French country style and each house sports its own personality. Singles, couples, growing families and empty nesters can all be found here. Come ride thru any time of day and you are sure to see residents walking, riding bikes, casting a line in the lake, or just playing and visiting. This may just be the "friendliest" neighborhood in the area! Live here and you are very close to grocery stores, restaurants, businesses and retail shopping.

    As a former resident of Maplewood Estates, I speak from three years of experience that this is the premier location in Prairieville. The neighborhood falls into Oak Grove Primary School District which was one of the big draws for me and my family. I really miss the neighborhood and all of the great friends we made. I would definitely live there again! The location makes it almost impossible to pick a restaurant because there are so many nearby. Some of my favorites were Sammy's (but be careful because there is a crowd at prime dinner times), Rotolo's, Dempsey's, Tommy's Fish House, On the Half Shell, Albasha, and the Italian Bowl. Maplewood Estates is located right on the parish line, so you are back in Baton Rouge in seconds and to the Highland Road exit at I-10 in under ten minutes. Winn Dixie and Walmart are less than five minutes away. Convenience and friendly neighbors really are king in Maplewood Estates!
