Garret Thomassie will be the guest speaker at Lunchtime Lagniappe on Wednesday, June 13th at 12:00 PM. The topic of conversation on Wednesday will be centered around the conservation efforts of The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Native prairie grasses and wetland plants will be the center of conversation and will also have a number of these on display to view on the plaza.

Lunchtime Lagniappe is an ongoing meeting of lunch hour talks that last about 30 minutes. The cost is free and attendees are welcome to come and go as they please and may also use the time spent to get out of the office for a few minutes and eat lunch. The event is at the Capitol Park Museum at 660 N. 4th Street, Baton Rouge.

Walking through downtown the other day, I came across one of the Green Park charging stations. Baton Rouge is GEAUXING GREEN! Found this link online from the announcement, if you missed it like I did. Apparently there are currently 10 charging stations through out downtown with plans for an additional 35 stations.
