These realtors were working as dual agents, representing both the home seller and me, as the home purchaser. I submitted a full price offer for a property listed by these folks. No contingencies. Clean offer, called to correct a mistake in the offer - prepared by these folks - and was told they were actually now accepting the "highest and best offer " before the "cut off time" which was less than 60 minutes away.. Really?? This was the first I heard about a "highest and best offer." Who is acting on my behalf? I don't appreciate the games. Obviously my offer was not accepted. I hope it works our for their clients - in the end- after Inspections the highest offer sometimes isn't so high. lesson learned: NO DUAL AGENTS ever again.
