Cajun grocery shopping at its best, Nunu's Cajun Market offers their own seasoning to spice up your family meals. Specialty meats, catering, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Don't have time to cook dinner? Pick up a prepared dish ready to put in the oven or already cooked. My husband brought home some of their delicious bread pudding two nights ago, and we almost fought over it. Make sure to stop in for your daily or weekly grocery shopping. Online ordering is also available. Whenever I can support local business owners, it's a win for our community and a win for me too.

With 36.8% of adults having had achieved a Bachelor's degree or better, an average household income of $67,147, and a minuscule crime rate of 2.67 per 1000 residents, Youngsville was named by Yahoo in 2011, the best place to live in Louisiana.

  • With Youngsville growing at a rapid pace and newly developed subdivisions selling like hotcakes, the Youngsville City Council has asked for plans to move forward with a new high school. The city has approx 600 acres in reserves for expanding educational facilities. I think this is something that is needed before the lone Southside High School is overwhelmed with students.

Whether you have children or not, studies have shown that the better the schools in an area, the faster and higher home prices appreciated.
