TGIF! If you live on the Bossier City side of the Red River, I encourage you to support the Farmers' Market on the south side of Pierre Bossier Mall. If you have time, cross over the market on the Shreveport side at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport. While I select my fresh produce for tomorrow's dinner, I'm excited about the special attraction. Anticipating hearing old school blues by Howling Henry Robinson. Some say he must have been born with that harmonica in his hands. Remember, there will also be freshly baked items and cooking on the spot so plan to partake for breakfast/lunch. Parking is free at the city meters and there's also extra parking at the Sci Port Discovery center on Clyde Fant Parkway. If you should see me there, please pull my coat tail and say hi.
